Okay I get it, once again Governor Patrick is a man of his word, he said he was gonna pick a minority with no great power base to their name, someone who would not be tempted to run in the primary...and by ghod he did so.
Still it woulda been a nice gesture to Former Governor Dukakis to name him to the interim sinecure...but I guess the Governor's Mind is Made Up.
Still and all that I wonder, would this "snub" ever push Barney Frank into the race for the US Senate?
THAT would be a game changer boy howdy!
The debates alone (Markey v. Lynch v. Frank) would be worth it.
