A matched pair of religious fanatics

Catch the front page of the Globe today-a picture really is worth a thousand words sometimes at least.
A more eloquent and instructive graphic could not have been run.
Our Governor the Kolobian Viceroy, Mitt Romney was dutifully attending John Ashcroft's appearance at Faneuil Hall yesterday. The AG in turn was excitedly expounding on his plans to destroy the Bill of Rights completely and rule the U.S. like a Czar.
So of course Romney was caught applauding these gruesome policies, anything that increases the power of the overclass is just fine by him.
Jack off....
And not fer nothin' but John Ashcroft couldn't catch a cold if he went wading in December's ditchwater!
The slack life of a rightical chic senator from Missouri is but poor preparation to be Attorney General of a free people in a time of crisis. Back in the day all Ashcroft was good for was slurpin' vanilla ice cream and filling up the Congressional Journal with biblical solutions to the budget deficit.
Now with each new outrage he demands new powers in perpetuity to meet the crisis, none of which are making anyone any safer...and brutishly ironic given the AG's lackluster record of fighting terrorism.
But there was Romney, grinning like a mongoloid and clapping as if his life depended on it.
And why not?
Each new police power granted Ashcroft makes the Presidency an ever more attractive proposition to a power worshipping aristocrat like Mitt.
At least a goodly number of protestors marked yesterday's shameful event.
I don't have much to say in favor of demonstrators....but as far as I'm concerned I hope they follow Ashcroft like Ahab chased the whale....dog the bastard-given half a chance he'd send the lot to Utah's salt mines.
